House Sponsorship

Sponsoring a Habitat for Humanity home is an opportunity to change the life of a local family. You will experience first-hand the transformational power of safe, decent, affordable housing in a family’s life. More than that, your partnership will help build a community where everyone has a decent place to live.

House Sponsors donate $75,000 to cover the cost of construction materials and professional labor, for example plumbing and electrical work, needed to build a Habitat home. This donation entitles you to exclusive sponsorship of a Habitat home and can be spread over as many as five years. Benefits include:

• Meeting a Habitat partner family
• Milestone celebrations for your sponsored house
• Sponsor signage located at the site throughout the duration of the build
• Optional Participation in the construction process to experience the joy of working alongside Habitat volunteers and partner families
• Story in the newsletter, annual report or Habitat’s website
• Luncheon and project tour with the Executive Director and Board President
• Invitations to Habitat events

 

Half House Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Or, invite a group of family, friends, business colleagues, or civic association members to partner with you to provide the funds for a Habitat House Sponsorship with all of the same benefits.
