Simple. Decent. Affordable.

Habitat for Humanity homes are built to be simple, decent and affordable. Our homes are designed locally by Terrapin Architecture and are built by Habitat partner families, volunteers and local sub-contractors.

The size of the home is dependent on the size of the family. Generally homes range from 900 square feet up to 1,470 square feet.

All Habitat homes are Energy Star certified. To reach Energy Star certification, a home must meet strict guidelines for energy efficiency set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. These homes are at least 15% more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code (IRC), and include additional energy-saving features that typically make them 20–30% more efficient than standard homes.
