Recognizing Port Townsend and Jefferson County’s nautical history and current connection to the maritime industry and Salish Sea, Habitat for Humanity’s store will feature a Port Townsend and maritime-focused art show on Friday and Saturday, September 8th and 9th. Art featuring Port Townsend, sailing ships, ferries, ocean liners, and boats, as well as art highlighting our city and people, will be on display for sale. In addition, old maps, previous years’ Wooden Boat Festival art, and art featuring maritime animals and environments will be available.
We hope you will join us as we pay homage to our maritime environment and trades, which have been, and still are, such an important part of our heritage and culture.
See you there, Matey! 🌊⚓
