We have many opportunities to volunteer to support Habitat's mission, meet caring and committed people, and enjoy a high level of laughter.

Construction volunteers use all the skills of the building trades to partner with Habitat participants to build their own homes. We can use volunteers of any skill level, from beginner to licensed contractor. Whether it is a day a month or every week, we need you!
Store volunteers provide the major fundraising activity of our affiliate by picking up donations, pricing and sorting donations, staffing the store, and serving on the store steering committee. So many opportunities under one large roof!
Office volunteers help keep the Habitat office running smoothly and efficiently. Shifts are available morning or the afternoon. We also need quarterly help with special projects, including newsletter and mailings.
Special event volunteers promote HFHEJC through participation in events such as Earth Day, the Rhody Parade, the Jefferson County Fair, volunteer recognition programs, and fund-raising events.
Committees plan, make policy, and carry out the mission of the organization. Our standing committees include the Board of Directors, Building, Family Selection, Family Partnership, Church Relations, Community Relations, Development, and Store Steering Committee.
