Habitat for Humanity's Furniture & More was established to help raise funds to build homes for families in need in East Jefferson County . Your donation ensures that we continue to provide simple, decent, affordable housing.

Donating

We gladly accept donations of new and used furniture and household items that are clean and in good condition. Because we have a limited amount of space, we are not able to accept every donation we are offered. Popular, easy-to-sell items are:

• furniture in good condition
• antiques in good condition
• dishes and housewares
• garden tools and equipment

Call 379-2827 to arrange a pick up. Regularly scheduled pick-ups occur on Tuesdays.

Volunteering

Our furniture & more store operates on volunteer power alone. Without the help of our dedicated volunteers, we could not continue to provide this service to the community. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Sales
• Pricing / sorting
• Display / decorating / cleaning
• Maintenance
• Management
• Donation pick up and unloading

No experience? No problem. We will train you.

The Furniture & More Store is open three times a week:

Wednesday - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Friday - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Saturday - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

We receive new items weekly, so if you can't find what you're looking for, come back another time. We look forward to working with you to help build simple, decent, affordable housing for people in need.
